Good morning world-wide HeartTouchers.com readers!
I have been producing videos since 1990. Nothing I have ever made can hold a candle to the video that Caleb just made for church this past weekend on the topic of Christians being martyred. Not only did he edit this together, but he wrote the script and composed the music for it. Mom and I are so very proud of you Caleb! May God continue to use the gifts and abilities He has given you to touch the lives of countless others!
P.S. That little boy that so many of you read about from our stories in the past 20 years is now 23 years old!
The King and His Children
By Caleb M. Powers

Have you seen my children? They toil, night and day, to please me. They have traveled across the world, heralds of my kingdom riding on white stallions, proclaiming my rule from one end of creation to the other. They are ambassadors, spreading the message, the good news of my reign as king of the world, with a fire in their hearts. Wise as serpents, innocent as doves, strong as the mightiest warrior. My Spirit goes with them.
But though every knee will one day bow, and every tongue confess that I am Lord, still my message is often not received with rejoicing. Hatred, sin, disobedience, it drives humanity to reject my good news and proclaim themselves kings and queens of a broken world. They hate me, but lacking a way to strike at me directly, they instead lash out at my children. My precious sons and daughters, my ambassadors clothed in white are then stained red with blood. Beaten, bruised, whipped, tortured, killed. For me.
I love them, my children, and though the world may despise them, I will not forsake them. I will protect them, I will lift them up on wings like eagles, and I will work out every evil meant against them for good. I weep with them as they suffer for my namesake. I will pour out my wrath against their accusers on the last day. But I rejoice in their faithfulness to me, and their love for my message.
I ask again, have you seen my children? Have you heard the message they proclaim, my message of hope and reconciliation? Have you witnessed their scars as they join with the suffering of my firstborn? In this world you will have trouble. But take heart, for I have overcome the world. I am the King, and I reign as the sovereign Lord of the universe. I am also a father, and I love my children. All of my children.

Creation Q & A
Q: A fossil clock--what does it mean?
A: Because of the intense evolutionary indoctrination we've all received, most people assume that it takes millions of years for sediment--like sand or mud--to harden into rock. But given the right ingredients, this can actually happen quickly. Mixing cement is an obvious example, by the way.
On our website, we showed the picture of the mechanism of a clock encased in solid rock, along with sea shells. Of course, no one believes this clock was made millions of years ago. The clock was found in 1975 near a jetty at Westport, Washington. We know that there have been many shipwrecks in this area.
Obviously, the right mix of sand and other substances hardened around this clock, making it look like a clock in hard rock!
There's really nothing spectacular about this at all--these sorts of things happen all the time in different parts of the world. But the average person doesn't usually hear about them, and thus they go on thinking that rocks and fossils must take millions of years to form.
This "clock in the rock" is on display in our Creation Museum (http://www.answersingenesis.org/museum) near Cincinnati, where we are teaching people the truth about the history of the world ... according to the Bible.

Verse for the Day
"The Word of the Lord stands forever." --1 Peter 1:25
Kid's Thought For The Day
"To be a child is to see dragons in summer clouds, hear music in a cricket's hum, feel velvet on a caterpillar's back, and believe pumpkins really do turn into coaches."
Parent's Thought For The Day
"A rich man is one who when his pockets are empty, his children fill his arms."
Coach's Thought For The Day
"A leader is a person you will follow to a place you wouldn't go by yourself." --Joel Arthur Barker
Writer's Thought For The Day
"I know most newspaper readers don't read all the way to the endings. But I tell myself if I do it well enough, they'll read mine." --Ken Fuson
Deep Thought For The Day:
"Cash, check or charge?" I asked, after folding items the woman wished to purchase. As she fumbled for her wallet I notice a remote control for a television set in her purse. "Do you always carry your TV remote?" I asked. "No," she replied. "But my husband refused to come shopping with me, so I figured this was the most evil thing I
could do to him."

Video Imagery --Michael's Video Production Business
"I just wanted to take a minute to thank you for the beautiful video you made for me! It was so special to see both of my parents in tears as they watched their children grow up in pictures before their eyes! I loved the way you made Estania's part set aside from the rest--that was the part that really got them! The music was beautiful. My mom kept blubbering, "What song is that?" I don't know how you did such a beautiful job with the video in such a short time. I really appreciate your doing it so quickly. You have a wonderful gift, and I thank God that you are using it to create such sentimental memories. I hope that I can find my niche like that in an area that I love. Your video gave us one of our most lasting Christmas memories! I hope yours was filled with moments to be treasured forever!"
